Terache Kicks Off Race Season at Redneck Yacht Club With Huge Wins, Wild Racing & Mud-Flinging Action

Well, the first Terache race weekend of the year is officially in the books — and y'all, what a way to kick things off. Our whole crew loaded up and rolled down to Redneck Yacht Club for one of the biggest mud racing events in the South, and let me tell you… the turnout was something else.
From the front gate all the way back to the main road, the line of trucks, trailers, side-by-sides, and ATVs stretched out what had to be over a mile, packed nearly five lanes wide. If you've ever been to RYC, you already know — there's nothing else quite like it. Mud everywhere, motors screaming, music going, and some of the wildest racing action you'll see in this country.

Team Terache Rolled Deep
We didn't show up alone. The whole Terache family came out swinging, and we had our buddies from Vessel Powersports, FL Vaden, Mud Puppy, and a ton of other racers and supporters reppin' the brand all weekend long.
Our test machines lined up to battle in:
- Honda Side-by-Side Class
- Honda Solid Rear Axle Class
- Honda IRS Class
We're also proud to be sponsoring the Women's NA Class this season — and we had several of our promoters out there throwing down on the track too. It was awesome seeing everybody putting in work.

Chloe Takes FIRST PLACE on 32" Aztex XX Tires
One of the biggest moments of the weekend? Chloe behind the wheel of the Terache Talon, pulling off a FIRST PLACE finish on our 32" Aztex XX mud tires. Watching her run was a whole vibe — confidence, control, and a tire setup that just refused to quit.
The Aztex XX keeps proving exactly why it's become one of the most talked-about ATV and UTV mud tires out there right now:
- Massive forward bite
- Incredible skim performance
- Lightweight construction
- True-to-height sizing
- Serious traction in deep mud
That 32" Aztex XX setup hooked hard from the first pass to the last, and it handled everything RYC threw at it without a hiccup.

Mud Puppy Sends the Talon to Victory in a Wild Final Pass
Now if you wanted to see the craziest racing of the weekend, the Honda Side-by-Side class is where it was at.
Sid from Vessel Powersports rolled up with his MONSTER 8-seater build, and another competitor pulled in with a turbocharged Honda Talon. Then Mud Puppy hopped in our Terache Talon test rig and said "alright, let's do this."
After the first pass, the leaderboard looked like this:
- Turbo Talon — 1st Place
- Mud Puppy — 2nd Place
- Vessel Sid — 3rd Place
Then the final run came around, and everything flipped on its head.
Mud Puppy launched the Terache Talon off a massive jump, fully submerged the machine into a mud hole — like, gone, just brown water — and somehow powered out of it pinned to the floor. Crossed the line about a second ahead and took the win.
The crowd absolutely lost it. One of those moments you couldn't have scripted if you tried.

Rancher 420 Takes the Win on Terache Parts & Aztex XL Tires
Another massive win came out of the Honda solid rear axle class, where the Vessel Powersports Rancher 420 grabbed FIRST PLACE running a full Terache drivetrain setup:
- Terache Axles
- Terache Stretch Kit
- 60% Gear Reduction
- 33" Aztex XL Tires
That combo was dialed in perfectly for the RYC terrain. Traction, reliability, predictability — it didn't miss all weekend.

Why the Aztex XL Dominates at Redneck Yacht Club
Real talk — if you're planning a trip down to RYC, the best all-around tire for those trails is hands down the Aztex XL.
Here's the thing about RYC: a lot of those trails have a soft, silty, sandy bottom that aggressive mud tires actually struggle with. They want to dig instead of float, and you end up burying yourself. The Aztex XL just doesn't have that problem. It performs incredibly well in those conditions thanks to:
- Excellent flotation
- Smooth ride quality
- Incredible reverse traction
- Strong forward pull without excessive digging
- Great handling on both trails and in the mud holes
Whether you're out trail riding, hitting bounty holes, or just cruising with the crew for the weekend, the Aztex XL is honestly one of the best ATV mud tires you can run on Florida terrain.

Another Legendary Weekend at RYC
But honestly? Beyond the trophies and the racing, the best part of the whole weekend was just being there with everybody. Hanging out at the vendor area, meeting new riders, checking out everyone's builds, swapping stories — that's what this community is all about.
RYC keeps earning its spot as one of our favorite parks in the country, and this event was the perfect way to kick off what's shaping up to be a huge year for Terache.
If this race weekend was any kind of preview… buckle up. Things are about to get WILD.
