Team Terache Dominates at The Graveyard

Team Terache Dominates at The Graveyard

Our next stop on the season schedule brought us back to one of our favorite places to race: The Graveyard.

If you’ve never been, The Graveyard has a reputation for deep mud, brutal holes, technical trails, and some of the wildest racing in the South. The mud holes here are no joke, but this weekend, all eyes were on the track.

And it did not disappoint.

Honda Side-by-Side Class Brought the Heat

The biggest highlight of the weekend was the Honda Side-by-Side class battle between Mud Puppy and Sid from Vessel Powersports.

Both drivers were sending it every lap.

The course at The Graveyard was technical, fast, and unforgiving, with deep mud holes, tight turns, big whoops, jumps, hidden stumps, and rough transitions. Drivers only had two runs to learn the course and put down their fastest possible time.

No room for mistakes.

Sid laid down an incredibly fast run in his Honda Talon and immediately put pressure on Team Terache. But there was one key thing missing from his setup.

Aztex XX tires.

Mud Puppy Pushes the Talon to Victory

Every pass got more aggressive.

Mud Puppy and Sid kept pushing harder, trying to shave time off their runs. Honestly, those Talons spent more time on two wheels than four.

The crowd was going crazy watching them battle.

In the end, Mud Puppy secured the win running 34-inch Aztex XX Tires.

Not only did he win the class, he also recorded the fastest lap time of the day for any naturally aspirated, non-turbo vehicle.

That says a lot about the setup.

The lightweight construction, strong bite, and aggressive paddle design of the Aztex XX tires keep proving why they’re becoming one of the most talked-about mud racing tires in the ATV and UTV world.

Side Bets, Rivalries, and Good Sportsmanship

The competition between Christian and Sid went beyond trophies.

There was reportedly a side bet involved for an undisclosed amount of money, and let’s just say Sid wasn’t thrilled about handing over some of his winnings afterward.

But honestly, the sportsmanship and competition between everyone involved made the race even better. It was awesome watching drivers push each other harder every round while still keeping the atmosphere fun.

Lakely Takes First Place in the Women’s Class

The Women’s class also delivered some great racing.

Lakely piloted the Terache Talon to a first-place finish with an aggressive but controlled run. Rev limiter screaming, smooth corner speed, full throttle through the mud holes. She absolutely drove the wheels off the machine.

We’re proud to sponsor the entire Women’s class for the King of the Deep series this year. Supporting the growth of women’s mud racing and bringing more competition into the sport is something we’re excited to be part of.

Terache Takes Over the King of the Deep Series

King of the Deep did an amazing job organizing this event.

They even let Terache set up our vendor tent right inside the track area, which gave us a perfect spot to hang out with racers, fans, and supporters all weekend long.

The support at this event was incredible.

At one point, it felt like half the park was wearing Terache shirts. Between racers, spectators, staff, and crews, Terache products were everywhere.

Jordan Price and Team Terache Keep Charging

Huge shoutout to Jordan Price for putting down some excellent runs on his Honda setup running Aztex XL Tires.

The XLs continue proving themselves as one of the best all-around mud and trail tires for Honda ATV builds.

Nitrous Renegades in Small Tire Open

Mud Puppy also jumped into the Small Tire Open class, and that class was stacked.

Built Can-Am Renegades, nitrous setups, hydroplaning across entire mud holes, full race machines everywhere.

Even with that level of competition, the Terache Talon running 34-inch Aztex XX tires still managed to grab third place.

That’s seriously impressive.

Team Terache Brings Home Four Trophies

By the end of the weekend, Team Terache had taken home four trophies.

That’s officially a new record for us.

But there’s still unfinished business.

Vessel Powersports once again edged us out in the Honda Solid Rear Axle class, so it looks like we’ll be making some upgrades before the next event.

Aztex Tires Keep Posting Fast Times

One thing that stood out in the timing data from the weekend: the fastest lap times were consistently being set on Aztex XX and Aztex XL tires.

The combination of lightweight design, forward bite, skim performance, reverse traction, and smooth ride quality keeps giving riders a serious advantage in competitive mud racing conditions.

Huge Shoutout to Tom from Orlando

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our friend Tom from the Orlando area.

Tom was running 30-inch Aztex XX Tires on his Can-Am XMR 700.

He put down a strong run, but unfortunately ended up in a class packed with V-twin machines running nitrous setups. Even though he didn’t bring home a trophy this time, his machine performed great all weekend.

Massive Crowd and Incredible Atmosphere

The weather was perfect, and the turnout at The Graveyard was huge.

Every spot around the track was packed with spectators. Side-by-sides lined the course, people were standing on trailers, music was blasting, and everybody was filming content all weekend.

We captured a ton of footage that we can’t wait to share.

But honestly, our favorite part every time is watching the kids race.

They always have the biggest smiles, the most fun, and they absolutely love the Terache tires, shirts, and merchandise. Seeing the next generation of riders get excited about the sport is what makes weekends like this special.

And trust us, this season is just getting started.
